Looks like there won't be any FPS Russia vids for a while

First thing that came to mind was FPS Doug

I thought it may have had something to do with the flying shrapnel at 3:30

That big piece that flew past him about half a metre away could have done some serious damage. Fair play to him for keeping character (even if it's a bit 'meh'). He probably **** himself when the camera stopped rolling!

Until I see it on a credible news site, I don't believe it.

Check out FPS Russia's aa-12 video, 2x auto shotguns, plus a water test :o

I seriously doubt he is actually stood there for the explosion. It's far more likely there is just a video of him firing a weapon overlaid on top of a video a car/whatever exploding.

So yeah, like his accent, it's fake.

AFAIK only the quadrotor "prototype" video is faked in that way, the expression on his face before going back into character definitely seems genuine. Assuming its not faked they've been pushing it a bit more and more with the explosions - only a matter of time before they cut it a bit too close - theres a handful of "making of" videos (assuming they aren't faked to) from the camera women showing some of the explosions from another point of view and how close/far they are from it.

Is this massive news? Are his videos that amazing? Sorry, I have know idea what FPS Russia is all about? I missed out on this fad/craze.

Edit:

Wikipedia to the rescue.

So this person got the guns for the videos of some chap shooting up water mellons posted on line? Hmm, wiki tells us he was strapped to a chair with a hole to the back of the head. Arms deal gone wrong?

He's the 10th biggest youtube channel I believe. It's just weird that something possibly very shady happened to the guy who runs it.

Doesn't FPS lend the guns? confused why this would stop filming? since he isnt buying or manufacturing.

The only reason people watch is because he shoots exotic stuff most people, eve Americans, can't get access to. You have to have a special dealer license, then you need a letter of intent from a law enforcement agency for a "demo" in order to transfer these "dealer sample" weapons. Then in order to "demo" them the guy with the license has to be present, so it's not a matter of just borrowing them.

So basically you need to be set up as a defense industry dealer/manufactuer, have the proper license and be friendly with a police department who can write you sample request letters so your transfers can be approved. Then you have to be on site when ever they are "sampled" by anyone.

That only applies to maybe 1/3rd of the stuff he uses in his videos tho won't totally stop it - tho would mean less interesting stuff.

If you listen to it with volume up around 3:55 just after the explosion there is some extreme unfamilyforum friendly language in an American accent you can just make out that makes me think the explosion was real.
