Awwwwwww, and they even come in floral and zebra print. ;)

Yeah pop up tents are pretty naff though.....
 
Probably should have said, no Hi-Gear. :) Had one before and woke up floating on my air bed.

I have looked at the vango before though, the bagged product is really big.
 
Vango are good, have a look at the Banshee or Spectre (which i have). Or even the rest of their range. I would consider 3 man tents though, you'll be glad of the extra space.
 
For £100 I'd probably be looking for a 2nd hand Wild Country Zephyros 2, it's the cheapest decent brand 2 man tent that I can think of. You can get them new for £135 in Cotswold, if you know someone who can get discount like armed forces, fire brigade, NHS?, NUS, police, scouts, guides etc. you could get it closer to £100.

Like all outdoor equipment you have 3 options: light, cheap, durable. Pick two.

Afraid you get what you pay for with tents..

Best option is to go 2nd hand and get a quality one. it will earn it's keep over the years.

I have an MSR Hubba Hubba HP 2 man and it's an awesome tent but a bit costly, Just finished the Mongol Rally in it this year and used it 90% of the time, Slept out every where in it, mountains, deserts, Steppe, forests, kazak carparks :) It lasted brilliantly and is still going strong. Lot of lads cheap tents just broke or leaked o cooked them alive..

With your budget try and get 2nd had similar you'll love it, it's going to be your home ..
 
Think I can get away with the banshee or cobra. Know a few people who did the same ride and used them. Just wanted to see if there is many more for that price.

I was going to suggest a Laser Comp then saw the budget...:(

Yeah, I was amazed it was that cheap, if you can't stretch to a Laser Comp the next best thing is its cheaper, heavier cousin.
