London is fine, like most cities. Especially the city centre - it's not like you're taking your six year old on a pub crawl down Tottenham High Road

Of course OP, you know you'll be mugged, beaten, violated and then murdered, twice, and your poor daughter will spend the rest of her life fighting crime on the capital's streets dressed as a cat

As with most cities, avoid rush hour (I don't think the kids will like it), avoid going down empty alleys at night and Friday/Saturday night in parts can be full of people out drinking particularly the Soho and surrounding area.
