The TV soap opera called Neighbours. That used to be all the rave when I was a kid in the 90s. I don't know if it stopped airing but no one talks about it now. It's all X Factor, I'm a Celeb, Big Brother etc.

Delia Smith has kinda gone too, in favour of Jamie Oliver.

When I was at boarding school everyone used to watch it in the common room religiously for some reason. Well we didnt have sky or anything so it was basically the only option. I got quite addicted to it. There was also the poor man's neighbours... home & away.

BT Phonecards where you could dial a number, enter a code and it would connect you to a specific pre-programmed number. Basically given to kids so they could phone home from a phonebox even if they had no money. No idea if they are still around but I haven't seen one in years.

Yes, melted into hot toast until the toast got soggy.... Vitalite is similar imo but doesn't have the exact classic taste

Yup. I posted it earlier on they used to use ground up cooked bone in dog food to bulk it up a bit. They stopped using it and some law came in saying that dog food now has to be made from meat that is suitable for human consumption.

Edit: even though if I ate meat, I would never even dream of eating dog food - have you seen how fluffy and weird it looks?
