Microsoft 70-680 and 70-685

Hi Folks,

My employer is wanting me to go on some courses so I have identified the following -

MCITP 70-680
MCITP 70-685

Before I go out and buy the books/course material for each respective certification, I first want to book in for the exam. This way I've got something to work towards as opposed to strolling through the books and then booking the exam afterwards.

I've done some googling for test/exam centres but all I am getting is links to companies wanting to get me onto their course. I currently live in West London and can get into central London to attend any exams. I just need to find appropriate test centres. Anyone know of any? Care to point me in the right direction?

Additionally does anyone have any of the aforementioned certification? Recommend any literature? I've heard the microsoft self paced training kit leaves a lot to be desired

you might want to check when the course dates are with your employer - usually they will have a preference to one supplier and the course may only run every 2 or 3 months so factor that into your goal date

If your employer is willing to stump up the cash then it is worthwhile going on a tutor-led class based course if possible. Often this will include the exam as well.

Course is pretty easy if you read between the lines and ignore all the useless *** I did the courses as you are about to via the MS learning portal our company is also an accredited MS testing station. I wouldn't worry to much just read and do the practice plenty to be found online. You don't need to get a perfect score just enough to get by (and IMOH its a worthless qualification except that in some cases it opens doors that would otherwise be closed)

Ill get 5 days study leave from work. So I can stay at home and just crack on with the studies. I always find myself getting drowsy in class based programmes

Ill check out the learning portal. Im currently looking to get the MS Press book and supplement it with Professor Messers videos and cbtnuggets.
