Comparing the price you have been offered and the price for the new one... I would say yes it is a very good deal. It has quite a good panel, though the resolution is a bit disappointing considering its size. Would you get a warranty with it?

Just purchased the same monitor myself after seeing your post. Decided to look into it and after a couple of hours research went for it. Cannot complain for the price, especially if it is as good as people have said!

Arrived today!

Didn't get to test it out yet but put it together and can confirm its a little wobbly but still a very nice looking monitor. Looking forward to the morning when I can finally test it with my different machines

How you getting on with it? Found it to be very, very nice in terms of picture quality and colours. Also had no ghosting whatsoever in gaming terms. Although, I do have a slight black light bleed in one area in paticular (top left hand corner) but no where else, but I can live with this.

Any advice for picture settings, not really played with mine yet

Only got it up and running via VGA from my work V131 Vostro at the moment as I'm decorating my office (new flooring, painting, desk etc etc) first impressions are it's really nice, used pixel buddy and have no dead pixels or backlight bleed, looks really nice, need to get a film and some gaming going to see how it looks, I got these settings from another member so feel free to tweak

Brightness - 35
Contrast - 75
Sharpness - 6
Gamma - 2/3
Colour temp - Custom
Red - 46
Green - 48
Blue - 50
