Hmm, I've received an e-mail from Expansys with an offer on a free EE 4G SIM (okay, only a saving of £1.99, that's not really the point) by using the code FREE4G -

You get the first month data free (again, not really important) and after that it's only £15.99 for 5GB of data a month. I can't see where it says how many minutes and text's you get, but I hardly ever call people, or text, so as long as it's 100 of each, surely that's actually a pretty good deal?

You get Unl min/tx with all EE sim cards.

EDIT: From the looks of it that's a data only simcard

Ahh, I see it does say 'Give your tablet a boost'. Are there any 4G MiFi's out yet? It could be used in one of those I guess?

IF your not in a rush I would rather wait till the other networks get 4g. From what I have seen (Friend has EE4G) It is almost always on H+ In doors, its nice outdoors or if your close to a window but apart from that it was meh. One thing that was very good is that even at 1 bar you get 10mb+.

And while we get crappy ee, I see USA which are usually really expensive are offering unlimited 4fpg for $60 :(

Lets hope competition brings the price down.

Huawei Mi-Fi E586 ES has 4G..Check it out.

It's a HSPA device. You probably read 4G it from an American website where calling HSPA, '4G' is acceptable.

Is this T-Mobile? $70 a month and HSPA+ for the time being and no mention of tethering being allowed.

Same offer here for £26 a month (2000 minutes only though).

I remember when 3G was first rolled out in 2003 when 3 network started. They were offering basic price plans for £50 a month. Didn't last long at that price.
