I remember I once dumped my girlfriend on the intercom because she wanted me to quit Zelda - Links Awakening and come out with her. I was 13.

Magnolia is absolutely spot on with his advice. Listen to it and read the SA thread, it will definitely help.

Long story short:

Ex broke with me after 2.5 years, came back and asked me back out after a month. Honeymoon period again until she broke with me 2 weeks ago. Carbon copy of me, over the moon and I thought marriage/kids in the future. Heartbroken, head is a mess, lack of sleep and feeling sick all the time. If she isn't feeling like that then why should you? Exactly why I'm starting to enjoy the free time. Already met new people, doing new things and enjoying things I neglected during the relationship.

Focus all your time into you. Don't act needy. If it's meant to be she'll come back or you'll meet again in the future. Chasing will be embarrassing and will kill your dignity. I did that 6 months ago, now I look like an idiot.
