Are these prices good ?

They seem pretty good, Take the above. That's £6K or so off the OTR price from Ford, You will find it at a discount else where but not sure you would with a discount like that. But I'm sure other deals on there are much less attractive. What you actually got your eye on?

Hang on a min, are all ex-military entitled to this discount? Can they buy for someone else? My missus dad is ex-Royal Engineers and could be my go to guy for such discount on my next car!

Are these not just the forces tax free prices for people based overseas?

No, these are tax paid. They do tax free as well.

Yes, he is entitled to it as well.

Not sure if he could buy for you, in your name.

Are you sure, these appear to be the tax paid deals and they look fairly rubbish:

Fairly rubbish ?

Well, I've checked quite a few prices on different cars and they all seem to be cheaper than main dealership from £4000+ to £1500.

If you said they look ok or you can it cheaper elsewhere, then fine.

So, I don't know if you're being serious or just trolling ?

I am talking about the links I posted.

Is it me or is trolling the most overused word on the Internet?

The deals in the link you posted look to be the sort of thing you would expect to haggle or get through a broker anyway, they are all mainstream cars where the list price is something most people never pay.

I can't find a Focus ST for 14k tax paid. Perhaps you can provide a link?

So where on my link are staggeringly amazing deals then? Just looks like a bunch of deals similar to those you could get through a broker, but with the added complication of being limited to a select bunch of people, requiring a membership card, etc.

Please explain what's so awesome?

Wow, a few grand off a Peugeot. Does anyone pay list on a Peugeot anyway?

Staggeringly, Amazing and Awesome, where did these come from, apart from you ?

I asked a perfectly reasonable question, I didn't make an assumption.

And I gave you a perfectly reasonable answer and got accused of trolling, so what's your point?

You asked for opinions, mine is that as deals go they seem fairly rubbish.

It is a tax free deal for people serving overseas only, as I alluded to in post 9. Ford themselves will happily sell you a car on this basis if you qualify. BMW even have a dedicated dealership with premises on Park Lane for tax free sales. They are by no means exclusive to that website...
