Looking for idle temps of the GTX 670 please.

Mine seems awfully low at 22c

I mean I knew my card had good cooling but I've never seen figures like that before. I've set a profile in Precision X but my card never seems to even spin the fans up.

I have changed cases recently so it could be that tbh. The case I'm using now has exceptional GPU cooling.

Well my PC is about 2ft from a radiator atm and our heating is set to 26c.

So I guess an ambient temp of 22c would be about right. Never thought I would see temps that low at the core though !

Just stopped my lady playing NFS : The Run (FBII heats up the core like, well, BF3 lol) and the idle temp was 27c. Still pretty amazing considering it doesn't make a sound.

A good case makes all the difference :)

This years cards all seem to run really cool and quiet.

I just turned bf3 off and waited for temps to settle on my 660ti and I'm idle at 18c but think my room is bit colder than yours.

well if it's cold outside then that temp is normal for idle.

i think idle @ desktop im idle at around 23-24.

Is your card a stock card?

I'm thinking about trading mine for a stock card because mine eats three PCIE slots on a MATX board and eats all of my mini PCIE slots :(

I wouldn't normally care but I have a SATA III raid card with three SATA ports that I really need to be using as I'm running out of hard drive space and have two 500gb Sky HD boxes I can rape :D

Yup, really low idle temperatures here too - 23°. Maximum temperature today has been 57° - after I played few hours of Shogun 2 Total War.

Oh gawd they haven't fixed that?

Was terrible on Fermi. Would make the GPU report full load temps :(

They have fixed that so no idea whats up with his config. Even at 5760x1080 the gpus run at idle clocks 324mhz + 324mhz

My cards ran at ~23c idle with 1 or two monitors connected on air with a cool room. 26~27c when warmer.

30c at idle as im typing this, room tenp of 23c. Hit's the mid 60's in game on auto fan. Clocked at 1310/7586 mhz. Housed in a case with exceptionally poor air intake.

Have you chaps ever tried the Multi Display Power Save option in Nvidia Inspector? I've got two monitors plugged in to my GTX 570. Prior to using "MDPS" my idle temps were around 40c (about 47c in summer) and now the card is sitting idle at 28c. You just have to tick a box to have the power saving run when Windows starts up.
