Need youre advice on this car

Hey guys need advice how are vauxhaul vectras. They seem
Ok for the price. I seen a few for less than 2k miles are less than 60k and like 8years old. Theres two engines that come up 1.8ls and 1.8sxi what are the diftences between these two. Basically just need a recomendation on these cars and what youse think. Thanks in advance

Get ready for a flood of recommendations to buy a Mondeo instead. What's your budget?

LS and SXI are trim levels. They will both have the same 1.8 16v engine. LS is the base model and comes with four wheels and some chairs.

Na not mondeos. Not the car for me. Budget 2k. I take it these cars arent really that good

How are the reliability wise and fuel consumption

Reliability wise, they're not bad. My wife's one is heading towards 130k and other than usual maintenance (new arms, springs, timing belts etc) it's not put a foot wrong in 5 years *touches wood*. MPG is ~32mpg, or ~40 on a run.

Yeah thats really good. Apart from mondeos what else is good for 2k. Ps what engine has youre wife got

I'd rather have any of the direct competitors.

The Vectra really is a nasty place to be.

theyre gud cars m8. get one in sri trim if you can though they come with extra toys n stuff i think.

For a £2k budget?

I'd recommend saving up more money.

If that's not an option, then VW Passat, Skoda Octavia, Lexus IS200, Honda Accord... anything with 4 doors that isn't a Vectra (or French).
