By calling me obtuse when I'd made an unintended (aren't they all) mistake. But I accept your apology....Fair enough.

There is the other side of the argument though, people talk about 'the spirit of fairness' but it's bankers who create wealth anyway, so we generally wouldn't be living in such plush conditions(arguably) as we are now if it wasn't for their work.
Bankers do not create wealth. They manipulate it.
You can say the same for just about anything.
By any measure, banks and therefor bankers are in part responsible for the creation of wealth.
