This morning, made a fresh cup of boiling water to drink, left it for about 10 minutes to cool down then spilt the entire mug on my crutch. Half my thighs and on my genitals.

The pain was horrible, stood in the shower for 20 minutes with cold water, constant stinging. I've been laying in bed for about an hour with wet flannels on the area, the pain has gone mostly, but on my thigh there is a little redness and blistering, also some skin came off my penis.

Can't decide whether to go A & E just to be safe?!

Skin, fallen, off, penis.

The next stage of worry in a mans life is losing everything after his penis. Go to A&E and demand priority.

No I advise that you get straight onto the internet and go to a forum that specifically states a policy of no medical threads and ask advice there about your skinless penis.

Oh wait........ perhaps A&E might be the better choice

It's mid morning in the UK unless my timezones have gone nuts. A&E won''t be thrilled to see you unless you're a genuine emergency and the only thing that suggests that in your OP is the bit about the skin coming off your penis.

NHS 24 > Call your GP > A&E

Deffo worth going to see your doc, if you've got blistering/skin coming off it could get infected if it's not been cleaned/dressed properly.

This thread made my morning! Not only do we have skin coming off the penis, but I have an image of a forlorn man walking into A&E with a flannel on his crotch seeking assistance.

E: but seriously, is it worth the risk? Go to A&E, embarrassed or not you don't want it getting infected. Tell us how the conversation went.

I drink hot water first thing in the morning for my health, read the benefits!
I would have thought any potential health gain would be off-set by the aforementioned skin loss.

Perhaps cold water would be better for your health.

:D

(j/k, get well soon :p)
