looking at getting one of these cases for my other half as shes short on desk space

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-180-LL&groupid=2362&catid=2279&subcat=

problem is she needs/wants a dvd drive adding to it
normally I would add a cover over the drive to hide it so the case maintains it sleek look

however the C-02 covers (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-460-LL) arent compatible with the Q07 cases

has anyone got any suggestions on how I can hide the dvd drive??
is it possible to modify a C-02 to hide the drive or can anyone suggest another way of doing it, or even another case??

max size for a case is (w x h x d) 200 x 330 x 230

Not great. Unless you can rig the C-02B to fit the case.

Or some other case that is compatible with the C-02B.

problem is the eject button. This becomes an issue, should be easy to drill a tiny hole where the button / pinhole stands, so you can use a toothpick or something to eject.

Pioneer makes good slot loaded drives, hard to find and expensive. I guess the Silverstone will do the job.

should to be able to eject just be right clicking the drive shouldnt I??
or do the slot openers work differently??

after having a look around for slot opening drives there only seems to be the silverstone one that affordable but it doesnt seem to be vast available. seems to me that it'll probably get discontinued soon.

might try modifying a C-02B to fit the case, or even cut up the blanking plate that comes with the case and fix it to the front of a standard dvd drive

There should be plenty of drives on offer around the web. These are just standard laptop slot-loaded drives, like in the macbooks.

I can find that combo above for £55.

Alternatively, you can use an external USB drive. Some dont look bad.
