Hey. It's mainly on youtube but when I watch a video, randomly the video screen goes green and the video stops working.
But I have tried the basics like turning off hardware acceleration, reinstalling flash and unrelated, I have changed my graphics card and it still does it, so it can't be that.

I use firefox and windows 7. I have tried firefox in safe mode and it still does it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I seem to remember having a similar problem when I was using an ATI/AMD GPU, since swapping to Nvidia I've not had the same problem.

First off remove any GPU overclock you might have and if you're on AMD disable overdrive in the CCP. A quick google suggests the problem maybe voltage related:confused: not sure about that, if power supply was inadequate the whole system would likely be unstable, is it stable during gaming?

edit/ you might get more help if you post this in the Graphics Card section.

Which power supply unit have you got in the system? Also have you tried a windows re-install? it shouldn't be required when changing GPU (AMD - Nvidia) but some people believe it's a good idea to start from afresh.

No you're right that's a good unit.

How about motherboard drivers & Bios, are there any updates for either available? A bios update can sometimes work wonders if you're having system troubles.

It isn't clear from your initial post but have you re-installed your browser?

I recall having a similar problem with firefox a few months ago but a fresh install (of firefox) fixed it. May be worth trying other browsers, if you haven't already.

What browser would you recommended? I'm not keen on chrome, I heard it records everything you do and Google saves it.
