infornt of my PC
I am thinking of upgrading my q9550 to an i7 3820. Will i see a big improvement in Football Manager 2012 if I run 3-5 leagues in the background ?

Looking to speed up other things as well but FM12 is a hugely played game on my PC and if I am to upgrade I would like to get this game running faster.

I play Football Manager 2012 lots and lots and lots and lots and I have the 3820 and I can tell you right now - it is a beast. I have an overclock to 4.5Ghz and I run 41 leagues (all English, Scottish, Brazil, Spain, US, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia. Italy, Germany, France, Belgium and Argentina) and my game speed is 5 stars. Can't get enough of it. Even without the overclock you will cream it.

Edit, with max player base too.
