The Z77 Sabertooth Club.

What I have noticed after fitting this board is that when I shut down my pc it stays on and I have to disconnect the power supply to switch off! Do you think moving the jumper from 1-2 to 2-3 and back again will sort this out?

thats normal, power is still going thru the board. do you mean the fans are still spinning or just the green light is on?

all lights on case and board are still lit, and all fans on the board and case are still spinning! even after 1 hour after leaving the room thinking it was shutting down.

Cant find the info in search so i'll add it ;)

I have been having iastorui gui crashing so it will never load on newer and latest intel rst drivers.

I found teh culprit today via google and its the asmedia sata ports causing my issue.
I had a ssd in the asmedia port.

Disabling asmedia ports gets the gui working ;)

Just built a system using this mobo but I have a problem with the Vid Card. It works fine using the on-board Vid Card via HDMI but I need to run a nVidia card for 3D, I have tried a 8800GTX, 8800GTS-512 and 570GTX but none of them seem to be picked up, windows doesn't pick them up as a new device or anything, I've tried PCIe slots 1 & 2. I got an RMA # today but just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something before sending it back?

I did notice in the manual on page 5.8 it says "Supports nVidia 4xx\5xx Series" so I presume that means the 8800's won't work anyway?

Regards

Craig

Ah that's not good for you, but I hope its a one off. Its definitely cool looking, very futuristic! Anyone else had any problems?

Are there any silent 35mm fans for the center motherboard vrm cooling mount? Looking at the ocuk store and they only stock 40mm ones. I've turned the fan down in bios to 200rpm and it's still too noisy for my liking. I moved my soundcard to the pcie 2.0 X16 slot (black one at the bottom) instead of the top pcie 2.0X1 as it was getting hot during extensive gaming causing reverb in my headset.
