if you doing games bench games that matter.

farcry 2 another game no one plays i havent even seen one game from your list which i or many others even play regular.

bench games that use cpu horse power and are relevant.

Who died and made you king of what everyone plays. I quite frankly do not care who is right and who is wrong or what is legit and what is not but I can tell you after reading through this thread and many others the one thing that is true and constant is that you have been and continue to be a hostile, rude Even if you are right I'm afraid we don't allow personal attacks - Gilly.

It really gets old as a long time reader/occasional poster reading through thread after thread and seeing a select few constantly bashing and talking down to people as if they were elected king of the net.

not about being king but why even make a blog if you not going to do the benchmarks that matter show whether its worth buying upgrading your cpu or making a choice between any of these cpus ?

i haven't seen any evidence in any of these benchmarks of what people either use every day or play everyday. therefore a waste of time for basically everyone.

i would actually like to see the relevant benchmarks which he could do to show the differences instead he chooses to do irrelevant ones which basically effect no one and are useless. if you cant understand that then i don't know what to say.


before he says buy me the games and such you can get most of the tools free and decent relevant benchmark tools for free in demo or just free form. so why choose to use pointless ones.

the very fact that the benchmarks are basically worthless and useless is what makes it funny that this thread is either still open on here or even being considered as comedy gold.

lets see what pointless bench he adds next shall we haha

On the 4 core results, it's a damn shame that your board doesn't allow you to run it as 4 modules and 4 cores.
I'm still yet to see how a 4c (One core per module) performs in gaming against an 8c 4m FX8350.

This was something i wanted to try also.
Just can't find a BIOS for the ASUS Sabertooth that does it.

im not against amd i like amd i have two amd pcs lol (last three pcs before that amd :p )

im against the benchmarks being used that he keeps adding to a thread which doesnt add anything its like pouring sand on a beach a pointless exercise

what has anyone truthfully gained from this thread ? the only reason its popular or going up is from arguments about how bad the benchmarks either are or pointless :p

Actually as I mentioned before FC2 actually does badly on AMD CPUs.

Also,I really don't understand that if you hate the thread,why you keep posting in it?? Put the user on ignore and then go into ones which make you feel happier about yourself??

It is called Wreckage and is a free game developed using CryENGINE 2. If you can find the time to get performance and power consumption metrics,that would be great!!

If you don't have Crysis or Crysis Warhead it will be a good estimation of them,as it essentially uses the same models and textures as them.

Another game is Black Mesa which is free:

That uses the Source engine which is still used in some common games.

Warface is not out yet,but that is a F2P game which uses CryENGINE 3.
