need to find out how many valves gf car is

Hi all and sorry if this is a daft question but Im trying to find out if my gf's car is 8 or 16 valve
What is the easiest way to do this I went on dvla website and entered the reg but it just gives engine size, the car in question is a 1.2 fiat punto 06

All 1.2 16v models had a 6 speed gearbox.
 
You'll be able to phone up a dealer, give the parts or servicing department the reg and they'll tell you. If you can find the engine code on any documentation or look for it on the car that'll tell you too.
 
Do you dispute what that says? Are they lying and claiming a 5 speed 16v exists that in reality doesn't?

I wouldn't pay even the slightest attention to their valuations but i've rarely found their technical info to be wrong.
