Do you need 16GB of RAM? 8GB is ample and you can always add more in the future. For gaming the i5 would be better. Look at this:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £179.99
1 x Plextor M5S 128GB Solid State Drive - (PX-128M5S) £82.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £79.99
1 x GeIL Black Dragon 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (GD38GB1600C11DC) £35.99
Total : £390.36 (includes shipping : £9.50).

Around £450 although i need a ROG mb because im doing a big case mod in a few months.

wt GPU do u think i should get another HD 5850 for Crossfire x or upgrade to a HD 7950 when i have the money.

TTL review of the AMD 8350. If it has to be Asus ROG...........

or with a mATX mobo it works out cheaper (not ideal for dual GPUs to be fair)

if you think you will do a lot of video editing you could probably justify the i7K

RAM choice is because you obviously intend to style the build. Are you sure it has to be an Asus ROG mobo? As Zak said we could do better with the budget if you are flexible over this

Thanks and yea has to be an ROG board as my mod is based on the black and red colour theme watch this space will be starting the project in feb. thanks for all your help guys i will be using a atx or e-atx mb as a gene will look small in my HAF 932.
