Well I ordered the 'hdtv' version of this and got it set up.
I DOES work off my TVs (Samsung 37" LCD) USB port so it switches on and off with the TV.

The main problem I get is the TV is wall mounted so it makes odd shadows as it lights up the bracket and the cables. I've made a card 'shroud' to slot round them to stop most of the reflections.

Other than that works well.

But to answer your question, this is to wear at work and anywhere else, the other one is worth a lot more and I'm not risking damaging it at work or wherever.

If you've seen how often I use the Note II when out and about you'd realise this wasn't the case at all :p

You've not had a watch for 10+ years so this seems more than a change of habit.

The other watch? That Tissot? I thought that was a couple hundreds, similar to this Seiko ?

And you leave Taylor out of it ! :p
 
A change of outlook on the need to have a nice wristwatch? :)

The Seiko was 47% off @ £54. The Tissot was on January sale at £200.

I think I picked the right time to buy these at such prices.
 
No customs charges although it was FedEx so who knows if they're feeling a bit greedy in a week and send an invoice.
 
We want to get minideej into french immersion next year in grade 5 so a return to the 80's for inspiration on improving his french.

Nook HD, was going to get another Nexus 7 (last was stolen)

But the Nooks screen is much nicer (and cheaper). Waiting on an SD card to pop CM 10 on.

I see what you mean, I think its a combination of:

1) Terrible photography!
2) Bad camera
3) Low brightness setting

Plus in the apps there is a white balance app that can be used to correct the balance, after tweaking the balance its nice and white.
