Huh, I've got a friend who's part French, part Lebanese. She has said that she should do some Lebanese cooking at some point, but I'm just not sure xD

Not a big fan of beans/lentils though, which seems significant to that area. If she organises it, I'll go though :)

On the topic of cook books though.

Arrived today. Looks great so far. Some very simple recipes as well, which I'm quite pleased about. Being Australian, it also has a bit on Kangaroo/Beef, so might have to get me some 'Roo at some point (If anyone knows any good places). As someone who swims, Ian Thorpe is becoming more and more of a bit of an icon to me xD Got his Autobio on my bookshelf to read at some point, and have already watched the documentary on his attempted return to Olympic swimming. His knowledge regarding nutrition, seems off the charts, and the book is filled with great stuff so far alongside the recipes and what amino acids/nutrients are in parts are often included.

It's buy mo means all beans/lentils, there are a lot of dishes with them, even more without them.
They do love their nuts/seed/fruit in savoury dishes and Aubergine is quite common.
One of the first recipes I'll be making from it is a rabbit stew.

And the amount of awesome seafood/fish dishes is a strong area in the book.

I remember when we went out for a meal from work. I was none too impressed with the choice of a Lebanese restaurant, but I have to say, it was one of the best meals I have ever had.

posted this earlier but i didnt quite realise how useful it is. I connect a bare hdd hotswap style without the need for a caddy or external power. Really been useful this weekend as i have upgraded my HTPC from 64 to 256GB SSD.

Really really handy.. originally bought it for USB3 via pci-e 1x on my i7 920
