Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

I liked the original concept before it switched to Platinum games. Now it just looks like another hack n slash and I don't really care for it.

Very much the same for me. The original preview trailer was great, and it had the look and feel of an MGS game. Since they changed developers, it's gone completely OTT for me.
 
Going to give this a go, not quite sure what the problem is with the change of game play, makes me wonder if people would rather another Raiden MGS 2 style game.

We know MGS 5 is coming so it's not like they'll be sticking to this genre.

It's not really like that, dynasty warriors is just killing infinite guys, it's more like Bayonetta. There is actual skill involved in the combat.

Anyway, I was skeptical before I played the demo but enjoyed it a lot. I'll be getting it.
 
Yeah agreed deffo more like Bayonetta. Played through the demo again and took my time. Plays really nice once you get used to it. Really looking forward to the full game.
 
Ive thought this looked crap since the first trailer, i couldnt get on with the demo, point less use of the metal gear name imo but im sure people will like it, just not for me
 
I am absolutely in love with this game. It is crazy hard in places. Has good story, and I would say is what Ninja Gaiden 3 should have been.
