Dam not much cheaper than the U2713HM. Dells pricing never makes sense to me...

With an entirely differing core-market that the product aims for. This is in the same line as the U2713H, not the HM. The H version of the 27" is priced appropriately as well, if that's a little high for the product itself is a separate discussion though.
 
Would be interested to know how this compares to the U2410. I still prefer the CCFL backlight out of the monitors I've used. This is quite a bit more expensive too.
