Overclock 3770K, Need help and Advices !!!

As above, you want to use something like CoreTemp to monitor the temperatures.

Also, what is the ambient (room) temperature where you are roughly? I imagine it's going to be reasonably warm there compared to most of us in the UK :p.

yes true mate, something like that or the latest version of AIDA64 work nice for temps etc.

another thing, make sure the thermometer you use is not near a heating source like a raidiator etc and make sure the thermometer is at the same height in the room roughly as the motherboard is otherwise you will get the room tempreature up too high or down too low depending on where the thermometer is placed, I have two to be honest. :)

Yes, Brazil is a hot country you know

Here we have about 26 - 30C

I use CoreTemp to measure my temps

And about the offset, how much value do you recommend me to set?

Thanks

Theres a few guides kicking about on how to use Offset Voltages with the IB processors. My 3770k hits 4.5Ghz @ 1.24V none Offset voltage with around 80C as my max temp under my custom loop. (It use to hit 105C so yeah) I have a rather hot IB chip though (literally.. possibly the hottest I have seen)

Mine is @4.5 with 1.22

Nice. You seem to have lucked out temp wise as well. I think I set my LLC to either 3/4/5 (think it was high) on my Asrock z77 can't remember the changes that caused think it made my OC more stable though.

I got stable with 1.22, at least i think it`s stable, 9 hours prime and 20 passes IBT max is enough?

The IBT is a bit heavy but yeah thatll be fine. I wouldn't change the voltage down too much. You seem to have the sweet spot. (if it bsod's whilst doing normal tasks up the voltage by 0.01V possibly. Mine was stable in Prime/IBT but had a few errors in normal tasks)

you just need to play with it mate, takes a while, took me an hour or two before I worked it out and got it perfect, so theres not an answer I can give you as a quick fix apart from what I have just said, sorry, you'll get there in the end though, if I did, you will too :) ;)

Hi guys first of all sorry reviving this thread

I made a bios update in my Mobo and forgot to save my OC settings

I have some questions now

The LLC that i need to set to Turbo/Extreme.... is the Vcore Loadline Calibration Right?

I was using 1.5 CPU PLL, is it better to go up a little and use about the most commom 1.65?

The vcore i don`t remember but i think i was using 1.225 or 1.23, this 0.5 makes difference in temps?

Thanks again
