As above, you want to use something like CoreTemp to monitor the temperatures.
Also, what is the ambient (room) temperature where you are roughly? I imagine it's going to be reasonably warm there compared to most of us in the UK.
yes true mate, something like that or the latest version of AIDA64 work nice for temps etc.
another thing, make sure the thermometer you use is not near a heating source like a raidiator etc and make sure the thermometer is at the same height in the room roughly as the motherboard is otherwise you will get the room tempreature up too high or down too low depending on where the thermometer is placed, I have two to be honest.
