Basically having now decided that my card is bricked after some help from another forum. Details of problem here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18480715, I am now looking at a new card, have seen a Gigabyte GeForce GTX650Ti OC 2GB and was wonderig if this would be an upgrade/sidegrade to my current POV-TGT GeForce GTX50Ti Ultracharged 2GB? Obviously not wanting to downgrade and if push comes to shove I could spend a bit more and get the 660Ti from the same website. Please don't suggest AMD/ATi cards as I am set on an nVidia as website I have seen it on has some good games bundled in with their nVidia cards.

Unfortunately SilverTongue it doesn't matter if you say your not interested in AMD, as people on here will recommend them anyway of late. as for the 650Ti it is defiantly not as quick as your outgoing 560ti, whereas the 660 is a cracking card and defiantly quicker than the 560Ti, (at stock its quicker than the 7850 2GB as well but it is another £30 or so dearer).

Basically decisions like this all come down to your available budget and whether you are going to overclock or not?

Not flexible at all, a shame as for just that extra fiver you could bag yourself one of these.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 WindForce 2X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £179.99
Total : £179.99 (includes shipping : FREE).

Thats the 660 I've been looking at and what I based my budget on ;)

Saw that one just now as well :) thanks arc

You're welcome. :)

As bru said, the Gigabyte would be the one to go for, but fair enough if that's a tad more than you want to spend. The good thing about the KFA2, is that like Gigabyte, they are a safe bet should something go wrong (good cs). :)

Is the gpu definitely bricked? As I said in your other thread, I mounted a £90 waterblock to my £440 680 ltg only for it to appear utterly dead and for bricks to be ****. Reseating the cooler fixed it. Any slight pcb warping etc can render the card inoperable.

Definitely bricked tried reseating multiple times and tried other solutions as well, was even told on another forum to try without the cooler on at all just to see if it would post then as like you say the slightest warp renders it inoperable
