To watch TV apps (sky go, bbc iplayer etc), web browsing and HD films.

Hoping for battery life with at least 4 hours.
Nice sensitive screen with a good picture.
Preferably 9" screen

Thanks.

Few extra quid for the nexus 7 is the best tablet for that price and a lot of battery too. If you want a bigger screen you're going to have to pay more or go for something of lesser quality.

I'm after something very similar, mainly for:
-TV/Film apps
-Sky Go
-Browsing
-Books

Leaning heavily towards the N7 after using one today for the first time.

You have a Note II going by your sig, so would you really benefit from a N7?

For the OP I would recommend the N7 too or maybe wait to see the next flock of android tablets that will be coming after MWC

I'd be looking for a pre owned xoom, whap 4.2 on it and bobs your you know what, should be able to get one for under a ton and yes it's not world class performance but it's solid hardware and will do everything you've listed with ease.

I have a Note II and a Nexus 7 and find neither makes the other redundant. The extra bit of space on the N7 just makes the email google docs compilation etc that much easier.

If you want Sky Go then you pretty much have no choice but to get the N7. There are workarounds for other tablets but Sky keep changing the app and adding more checks in.

Never seen a xoom for less than £100... Either way dayum that thing is big and heavy.

Thanks guys.

I have had iPads in the past and do love them but all i did on them is the said things in the OP. Comes in very handy when F1 is on early on a race weekend, stay in bed with my headphones on, not waking anyone up.

Keep looking at 4th Gen iPads and the Galaxy Note 10.1" but not sure if it is worth blowing £400 again when a £150 tablet will do the same job.

Also i have played on a N7 before but i find the screen to small. Anything out there what is like this but with a bigger screen?

Thanks

Heard they are cheap Chinese Knock offs that only last 2 hours?

Nexus 10 is the same price as a iPad 4 unless i am looking at the wrong thing?

Check out the ultima thread in this forum, plenty of people saying the ocuk tab is good, but plenty other's saying they are not so good.

Nexus 10 is £320, not sure if you can get an ipad 4 for that?
