well, after the battle of a trek to get to work ive come to the conclusion that there are probably atleast a million and one things id prefer to be doing rather than being at work, didnt want to get up and certainly didnt want to get out of bed.

Am i alone with this thought?

People moan far to much about the snow. When I was a kid (I'm only 25....) I used to love seeing snow. I still do, I don't see what the issue is, the UK doesn't get it that often so just deal with it.

I built a snowman yesterday it was great fun lol.

Its pathertic that the secondary school decided yesterday that they are closed, all the roads are fine I guess the health and safety crowd have said a child could slip lets close.

Because it comes as a surprise, catching the UK off guard.

Every single year.

Apart from last year. And 3 years ago, and even before that we never had a great deal of snow recently.

Your argument is semi-invalid :p

Nope you're not....

I'm in bed enjoying a snooze .... enjoying life.... will call the landline and ask my misses' to bring up some Tea :D

EDIT: DAMN IT - She made Tea already and just called up to say ' Your Tea is ready ' ..... Silly bint ... now I have to get up

I can understand the issues when it comes to driving, in bad conditions without proper tyres you aren't going anywhere. However it's very rarely that bad.

But people just complain about things for the sake of it, and don't dress properly either, it's rather stupid.

It's more annoying just how bad people drive in these conditions, whether its warranted or not. All the roads I've driven on are absolutely fine, yet you still get people driving at 10mph.

I hate snow but I'm enjoying that it's the southerners that are getting the most just now. We have had very little in comparison.

The roads have also been gritted daily for about a week so can't even use it as an excuse for a day off.

Work is quite quiet though being a bike shop :o
