How do you set up your controls for flying?
I used to be a pretty good pilot in PS1 but can't get the hang of it this time.
Apart from being crap with aircraft this is the best game I've played in a long time.

Begg5 VS Woodman

I use normal keyboard and mouse controls, I have changed nothing other then right click is for my flares.

Flying is really easy to be honest, you should learn how to fly in one day, you should master flying after 3+ days.

I'm currently trying to master backwards flying and can do it about 80% of the time.

Going from the crown to alloys is the worst place in the game i think. You can get half way across the bridge with it seemingly empty and all of a sudden 100 infantry and 30 tanks appear on screen. Pointless even trying to snipe in certain places let alone use tanks/aircraft.

I know right, it's bloody stupid.

I also noticed something the other week, I was inside a tank firing at something in the air and it was pretty close, but when I jumped out to repair, the target was further away then it was in my tank.

Sure everyone has heard about BuzzCutPsycho?

Been watching some of his videos and enjoyed the attack on the Mesa Skyport, kinda makes me wish to transfer to his server and join his Outfit.

You don't get Air Zergs as much anymore on Miller as you saw in that video.

This video is funny. lol

I think hes funny, am thinking of making an account over there to join his outfit, it's a shame our accounts are not the same for all the servers. Shouldn't be too hard to pull off if they allowed that, but I guess I won't in the end. TE playstyle doesn't suit me, which is pretty much infantry.

So played for hour today, the last 20 minutes, some VS was camping our Warpgate in Esmair, I was doing rocket runs on their rears before I got shot down while all the other pliots attacked them in front.

I /re everyone to flank them and attack them from the sides, no one listened.

Saw too many tanks and my platoon and squad attacking them in the front, head on.

We have all THIS OJKLDSFASKLDJF land to travel in which they could easy flank them and wipe them out in one swift attack from behind them, told them this. I almost managed killing one tank myself before I got took out doing the same.

But nooooooooooo they gotta attack them head on, cod style playing feggots.

I decided to test how long weapon lock lasts since beta.

Huh? I'm assuming you mean playing EU and US servers, on same account?

If so, you can...

With the same character you can't.

Anyway, don't think there was any reason to have rotating Warpgates, I welcome the differences when it happens, but the reason for it happening is just silly, poor players blaming their poor skills and equipment.

So X and Y might be better placed in a map, who cares? Stop crying about it and overcome it. War isn't fair.

Right now, I view the gates as the identify for each faction, having them rolate kinda ruins that aspect and story line, makes it less real.

On other news, I bought my level 3 flares for 30 seconds instead of 35 for 500 certs. Do I feel good about it? No, could had spent the 500 certs on something short term and very useful, but guess the long hordering starts again for 8 extra ammo for my main cannon on my Mossy.

It was always the plan. When more continents are added you will enter from a warpgate based upon which cont you have locked, so you will be swapping around then anyway. But it was needed for a couple of reasons... obviously the SE gate on Indar is just a cliffy prison and the NW gate on Esamir is naturally ganged. Then on top of that after months of being on the same gates you're essentially fighting the same fights at the same handful of bases with large areas of the map you just never see a proper fight at, so keeps it a bit more fresh.

Okay, complete noob question.

Everynow and again my character's walking pace just slows to an absolute craw. I can jump, I can raise myself up and down with crouch but I can't sprint or seem to move at normal walking pace. Is there a 'please make me sniperbait movement speed' toggle?

Currently learning to fly with kb+m as the 360 controller doesn't feel right, but some of the moves some pilots pull off seem impossibe without a joystick even though they swear they're using kb+m also!
