I think I've finally figured out my problem - I just suck at Fifa now. Just been outplayed so much by a guy with a BRONZE team, I rage quit a match for the first time ever. That's it, I'm done with UT. Going to stick with career mode where I can at least win and enjoy the matches.

I like the challenge though, most of my matches are good games now. I always put up a decent fight even if I lose, other than losing 4-1 at the end of last night... :(

That's the thing, it's been a bad week pretty much. I really do think that I just suck online, as I struggle to beat anyone who seems half decent. They anticipate everything I try, and I have a hard time stopping them. Meh, can't be good at everything.

Pretty much every player in my team is in my trade pile now. Just need to decide whether to sell them all tonight during the busy period, or keep them in case I change my mind in the future and fancy playing again.

This is exactly how I feel playing online - I just can't seem to anticipate my opponent and everything I do gets blocked/intercepted!

I tend to spend most of my time playing the offline tourneys but I've done all the cups and can win the top league 9 times out of 10!

I wish they would release a new cup every week rather than just whenever they feel like it!

We aren't all that good tho!!! ;)

In all honesty I don't tend to struggle too much against the Legendary AI but every now and again I have a game where I simply can't break down the defence (super keepers, shots hitting the post from 3 yards out etc etc) - and it's usually not even a good team or even on the highest difficulty!

Either way though, being battered left right and centre online most definitely isn't fun so the offline at least provides me with a bit of enjoyment!
 
I've started playing UT online again. I lost my first game in league 1 after back to back league wins then started playing other games and lost interest. I still have my full Arsenal squad and am doing really well now, played 4 won 4 recently. Beaten mega value teams and a pacey brazil team so far (won 5-4). Still saving up coins in the hope that i can get a pack with a big value player in so i can build another squad.

Davey which online mode are you playing? Cups or League?

I tend to stray away from UT seasons as its full of people who abuse the over the top game. Its fine having pacey strikers but all they do is get the ball to midfield and use the lob pass:mad:

I find Division one difficult to win games but can easily win the Gold Cup without any problems. Played the Gold Cup twice last night and won it twice with my 4 teams :cool:

Whats your PSN? I can play you and check out your team/gameplay!
