Not such a good night out on Friday...

So, I went out on the town after work on Friday... Long story short, half cut, leaving a club where everyone dumps their jackets in one location, I picked up the wrong jacket. Identical to mine just in black. Screw you H&M jackets!

Anyway, after realising my iPod wasn't in my pocket, then that it wasn't my jacket. The bouncers were having none of it.

Rang the bar the following morning, no hand in. Will ring today, but not getting my hopes up. Need to take back the jacket I picked up so will have a word about the bouncers less than helpfulness.

Anyway! I can't find my spare key for the life of me!!!!!!!! It's in this house, what I'm more worried about is the alarm, it's a Meta M100 fob. I know the location for the alarm box in the car, the guy previous moved it and told me where and why.

I only had 1 fob... So will have to buy a new one. Now, amongst the paperwork, there is no alarm paperwork as I asked my old dear to dig it out when I first got the car to text me the details (I know the paperwork exists, I checked when buying the car). So I can't find that for a key fob code!!!

What options do I have? Never lost a key in my life, now I lose an entire key ring set :(

This says some of the alarm units can be recoded (for £99!), otherwise a new alarm system will need to be installed. Obviously the other option is to remove the alarm entirely.

Would rather have it re coded! It's central locking, alarm and immobiliser. So would prefer the expense of a re code :)

Thanks for the link mate.

Sorry to hear you've had some bad luck, as others have said, not sure I would have dumped my jacket containing an iPod and more importantly the keys to my car.

I doubt you'll have much luck with the club, but I would think recoding, as suggested by Dog would likely be the best option if you don't have the frequency code of the fob to hand.

The club in question is a very well known club and those that go are not the sort of typical Friday night scum haha. It's more like a pub.

Been going years and doing the same for years, just so happens. By my own fault, I picked up the wrong jacket. The pub in question also said they do have some items from that night but require I go in before telling me what they have due to me having someone elses jacket.

Can see their point, I could sell the jacket if they tell me my stuff is not there to cover the costs of what ever I lost.

So will go in tomorrow, fingers crossed they have at least my keys. The jacket was bought by the ex, very nice and fitted well. But meh, memories.
