Neighbour, driveway, taking the mikey, your opinion

I would park the car right on the edge of your drive in the way.

hmmm the BMW does need paint on the rear arches, but with that skill level i would be risking the aluminium doors, front wings and possibly even the roof. i dont think we should underestimate women drivers :D

we have a shared drive, each have a paved front garden, but i have an drop curb on my side of the shared drive.

I think we need a picture, as this makes no sense to me.

It sounds to me like you both own a 'paved garden', but also share a paved 'drive'?

You cannot have 'my side of the shared drive'. It's either shared, or it's not. And if the drop curb is on one side of the drive, then obviously that's the side that will need to be used when entering and exiting the 'shared drive'.

This makes no sense to me.

Picture showing the land you own (your garden) and the land that's shared (drive) please. Does she even actually drive on your land, or just on the side of the shared drive, that you perceive to be 'yours'?

I'm still flabbergasted by the parking attempt in the video. Where did she go? Did she just give up and go park round the corner? Did she take off to turn around and try to get a "run up"? What?

If you don't want her in your garden tell her to frig off, and if she doesn't just bung a gate up anyway.

I didn't like it when someone used my drive to turn their car round because you can hear someone pulling up on the drive (being that it's stones) and then you look out to see who it is only to find it's old nobhead using my drive.
I just went out and said to him, don't do it, you know what he did? He didn't do it again.

You should really grit/ shovel your drive by the way. Especially if you've got such inept drivers about.

Makes me laugh that people moan they can't get off their drive or whatever, why not just spend an hour or two digging the ice and snow off? There is even that magic blue stuff you just sprinkle on.

Put up a wall to divide the driveways?

This doesn't sound like an option, as it doesn't sound like he actually owns the drive?

To me it sounds like he just considers the side of the shared driveway, in front of his house, to be 'his side'.

Which is why....
