Just searched on Google and there isn't one of these lists anywhere.

Well, lets make one! Post the crappiest ports you had the misfortune of playing and give your reasoning, and hopefully we can all agree on a top 10 at some point. I'll start.

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record (awful performance) - the worst port I've ever played, on my current specs it stuttered at an unplayable rate, would freeze and run at a very low framerate, that was at 1360x768 resolution, vsync off, anti aliasing disabled, anisotropic filtering disabled, depth effects off, shadows off, zombie quality low. It actually ran a little better using a 6850, but was still very difficult to bother with.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (laziness) - when you design a huge open world, and put nothing in it for the sake of the consoles, and then do not bother to give the cities and landscape some life when porting to the consoles bigger stronger brother, you know you're lazy. There is no reason for there being 1.5 houses and 3 citizens in each city, its appalling, give them some life for gods sake! Performance wise it's alright for a port, still stutters on hardware that is miles above the consoles but it's playable.

Lord of the Rings: War of the North (awful performance) - similar to Dead Rising, the game just flat out performs like arse.

Top 10 (so far)
1. Grand Theft Auto IV (10)
2. Dark Souls (9)
3. Splinter Cell: Double Agent (6)
4. Saints Row 2 (4)

Had a hell of a time getting Darksiders to run smoothly the other night. Took about 45 minutes of messing around in the Nvidia control panel, and honestly I can't even remember what I eventually did to get it playable.

Apparently Darksiders 2 shares much of the same issues.

Darksiders in particular stands out as one of the laziest console ports of all time, no PC specific options, didn't run especially well, no better textures, no better resolutions than 720p or something (somewhat jarring at 2560x1600), controls basically 360 controller or nothing.

Nation Red as well - didn't work if you had more than one KB/Mouse/Xbox 360 controller plugged in. That was just plain buggy, it crashed/failed/wouldn't accept input at random.

mine does 1080p out of the box?

GTA4 without a doubt, released in 2007 was it? Even on today's hardware it runs about as well as a single lunged asthmatic old biddy.

Star Trek: Legacy. The console version is just a bad game, the PC version is a bad game with a ****-load of bugs.

Saints Row 2 was actually better to play on Xbox than on PC. That is a rare thing that should be cherished and loved.

Sometimes the converse is also true, I remember briefly playing the console version of the witcher 2, and it was awful.

From all games that I have played Dark Souls, you only get some low resolution as standard . However there is a very easy to install fix. Apart from that the game runs without any issues and having Xbox controller etc is a must as well.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent

Terrible performance, incredibly buggy (there was one level where you had to walk a certain section backwards to avoid looking in a particular direction and crashing the game) and dumbed down.
