Got this little fella today. I've not used a wired mouse in about 15 years so this will take some getting used to.

I got that recently, love it. Used to have the Xai though, the same mouse but with a load of pointless settings.

Can't wait for the weather to get a bit better so I can put it to use. It's far too cold to be venturing out to the shed at the moment.

make sure you get the accessories to help keep your fingers attached.

I got these ones after doing a bit of research (Kreg featherboard, bench dog push stick and push pads). Also got a Freud Diablo D1060X 60 tooth blade, excellent blade for the money. A few clamps are useful too for putting on a sacrificial fence.

That's the reason I settled on this one, because I didn't need all the other stuff and I could save a few quid.

I'm getting some resistance from the cable, which I suppose is normal but not good for photoshop. I think I'll invest in one of those mouse bungee things.

I have one of these and its great. Takes an unbelievable amount of abuse and still works.

A friend's got the 800 which is the four channel one that's really similar and I agree with this!

It gets crashed into everything all the time, we've shot it down with Nerf guns about 5 or 6 times and it doesn't care. He's still on the first set of blades.

Toshiba 1TB USB 3.0 external drive. The drive inside is removable and suitable for my MBP so most likely will swap the two over when the Mac gets here tomorrow.

Also 16GB of RAM for the Mac.

Can't wait. Been using a 2009 Mac Mini since my iMac went wrong six months or so ago and the old monitor I've been using buzzes and flickers. Be nice to have a quick machine again especially once I stick an SSD in it which will hopefully be next month.

I'm going to make one of these soon. It's supposed to be very safe and they use them in woodworking magazines and courses in the US, but we were never allowed to remove the blade guard at college.
