Guys could you have a look at this eBay item and tell me what it is selling?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230911700558?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2649

This is my listing that I listed and sold last week. The buyer has now contacted me saying that he didnt receive any of the normal bundled accessories including a cleaning cloth and various other bits.

I have replied saying that if I was including the items they would have been listed and or in a photograph.

It's actually getting to the stage that when I sell something on eBay I worry about it for a few days after its posted as there is always something wrong or the item isn't as described when I clearly describe it as best I can.

I dont think I have done anything wrong here.

I've never had a problem selling anything. Maybe it depends on the stuff you sell.

But I wouldn't expect what he is asking for from that.

You clearly stated nothing else was included,

I sold an ipod nano 6th gen from the refurb scheme, posted it in the brown box it came in, clearly stated that it was only the ipod with no headphones, packaging or manual

still got the dreaded 'well i wouldn't have paid X if I knew i'd have to spend about £30 on headphones!!!!!'

You should always put a "what you will receive" or "what's in the box" section and bullet point every single item you will be sending. eBay is full of idiots these days unfortunately.

I read that as a headset and case nothing else, as others have said though there are some awkward buyers on eBay and if its not stated clearly they will kick up a stink.....

I'd say sorry and that they can send back for a refund or refer to the sale and say you listed what would be send and the cloth etc wasn't listed so you've done nothing wrong

What feedback do they have?

Mart

Just checked his feedback, all positive but he only has 5, really disappointing to be honest.

I thought this sale was easy and clear but I think you guys are right, there is some idiots out there.

the problem is the "brand new"

while he might not have anything to come re the accessories I think he would have a good shout disputing they meet the Ebay definition of brand new

Yea I can see the problem with Brand New however they really where brand new and never used.

I just hope there is no dispute open as those things take ages to find a solution.

You do say "I am selling these as Brand new without packaging however they do come with an official Sennheiser case. "

But unfortunately there is the sentence above "New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details." and that could easily be read as everything is included

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable).

If you use that condition then people think the item item is brand new in its sealed wrapper. I don't get why you would list under that condition and then quote a different condition in your description i.e. not in original packaging.

Thats where the confusion comes from and the buyer is not completely in the wrong here, just my opinion.

i read it, and the listing states that it comes with Headphones and without the packaging and stuff, the only thing i would have changed is the fact that you have put "new" when clearly it isnt, becuase if it was "new" i would expect all packaging and un opened, you shaould have put "new Other"

The buyer has a potential to raise a dispute, I would suggest a full refund - 'New Other' would have been the best best with a listing of the individual items.

Feels to me people look for ANY and i mean ANY excuse to knock off extra money. Really is pathetic, ok yeah no cleaning cloth whatever. But you clearly stated what was included in the damned auction.

If it was me buying those I'd have gone them and be like ohhhh nice leave good feedback if working.

not, OH NO CLEANING CLOTH!?
