Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a gaming laptop around the £1500 mark or less. I want it future proofed for 2-3yrs.

I have been looking at the MSI's on Overclockers and have also been looking on another site at the LG20 series with dual 7970m's

Any recommendations would be appreciated. I am sure like most people I have been dwelling on the 680m v dual 7970m XF debate, and was hoping for some direction. Drivers vs Reliability I guess is the real debate

Anyway appreciation to anyone who can help

Thanks

I have the LG20 with dual 7970s, it's the best I could find for the money. Spec in sig.

Have to agree with this, best gaming laptops are what he's got with two GPU or the beast that is the M18x from Alienware which truth told is not a laptop, its just a flat looking desktop PC that you can move from one desk to another lol

Dual 7970m or 680m will not be beaten, fastest GPU setup for any laptop on the market at this time..

The ocuk 7970m based Laptops Start Art approx 1000GBP and are great gaming machines and can be customised to your specification too :-)

Yes, but not with a 2nd 7970m! Stock the P370EM!

The 370EM is an insane laptop though, and its quite costly but OCUK should at least look into making then special order as they do not have dual GPU laptops in their range, considering they are a place gamers both desktop and laptop go for their kit, stocking or giving the option for a clevo 370EM doesn't sound a bad idea..

Over to you gibbo on that one, I do recommend they look into OEM GPU etc, they did start to stock some laptop parts... Many have MXM type laptops, there has to be a market for replacement MXM type GPU.
