This is the problem with a lot of people. They want something for nothing. Ie a brand new item for peanuts and moan when they don't get it.
 
He's bought them and seem them cheaper somewhere else and is trying to send them back.


I think you have two options here

1 tell him to send them back but ask for fees and delivery costs

2 take the bad feed back on the chin, tell him to go away

PayPal will not side with him on this I don't think. He got what was listed

How did the buyer get what was listed?

If you went to a shop and bought a NEW item that had accessories that should come with the product missing would you just chalk it off as a loss?

But this is why Shops will label goods as "B-Grade" stock. Even if its as New and Unused and missing a few accessories.

If they advertised a motherboard as "new" as the Op has and you recived just the motherboard and no backplate/cables i'm sure you'd be a bit annoyed aswell even if you paid a little less than normal.
 
He never mentioned accessories, if the buyer was unsure he should have asked, if it was you would you ask, I try look after my money and don't spend it on something I'm not sure about,

It's clearly says without packaging but does have a case. So you would expect some brand new head phones with a case and nothing else, he never said if comes with anything else

Why would the buyer be unsure about accessories when the item is listed "NEW" surely new items come with the accessories they are boxed with.

So every time you buy something you go through a massive list of "does it come with....?"

At the end of the day OP should not have listed the item as "NEW".

But can you not also see that if the OP has gone to the trouble of stating it comes without packaging he should also state the other things it comes without. To me it reads that it would come with everything except packaging.

To me the fact it comes with a case may just be an additional selling point which would make these particular headphones stand out above others. Much like if I saw an advert for “a brand new TV with HDMI cable. Comes without packaging” I would assume to get everything I normally would except for the packaging and the fact this particular tv comes with a HDMI cable is a bonus which other TV's didn't include.
 
I don't think your getting this.

He sold some head phones nothing else, the man even give him a bag for free,

Look at it this way you go to a shop and you see a pair of head phones you say to the assistant I'll have them and he says you can have a pair without a box but you get a bag or a pair boxed unopened but there full price

How could you not know what you was getting in that advert, it's all in the picture, if it's not in the and nothing in the listing is mentioned either ask or or presume it's not there or don't buy it.
 
I know what you guys are saying because I always put you are bidding on headphones and bag only, to avoid any confusion but if a cloth is not mentioned or in the picture I would not buy if I wanted it, what else is missing? I've got some like them and you only get a bag and cloth and a Jack with it so if he's moaning about them other bits give him 3 quid back you can easily but the bits for that
 
I agree, its not a big deal and its easy to see it from both sides, but i generally think most buyers don't have the same thought process of many on here and if the seller doesn't make it completely clear what is/isn't included then its open to misinterpretation.
 
Lots of idiots on ebay dont read the descriptions, your lucky he hasnt left you a negative yet, its happened to me!
