It's not all about the power. It's the twin scroll turbo unit as found in the JDM Imprezas. Great setup, but yes a bit over priced.

Huge spec though for a Subaru!

I wouldn't fancy bashing an S4 down a farm track, the Legacy will be better suited and harder wearing when doing such things.

People moaning about the slow 0-60 are quoting automatic figures. The manual spec b is in the 6's. A work friend has one of these and I like them a lot. Nice interior for a Jap car and a lot of room. I would quite happily have one as our family car if it wasn't for the price of petrol!

"Low slung" was probably the wrong term, but they certainly dont look like a jacked up estate - like the Forester
