So the moon landing was faked!

If all the film producers got together and pooled all the money they got from investors and not make crap films like Expendables 2 On a budget of $100 million they could get enough money together to make a moon movie in HD

Just imagine the Box office smash it would be :D

Cost for new moon mission 200 billion dollars.

[..] During the growth of the planet that is fuelled by the sun, using a type of photosynthesis (and chemical reactions) that i don't realy know anything about, the planets gain matter over the course of a long time. [..] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expanding_Earth

That is ridiculous enough to be genuinely funny. A person with enough writing skill could use that as a basis for novels in the same way that Terry Pratchett used ridiculous geography for his Discworld series.

The way I see it is if anyone had actually been to the moon why not go back and collect helium-3 "moon rocks" which is a better power source than what we use now that will cause less damage to the earth... 40 tons is enough to power the entire U.S for a year.
With modern day technology going to the moon and back should be like a walk in the park if indeed anyone has ever been... Which I doubt it very much unless your insane... A monkey was the first living thing to travel to space and never returned so why would a human want the same fate?

DISCLAIMER: I'm no expert on the matter that's just my opinion...everyone has one and everyone is entitled to one, if you don't like my post please ignore it or send me a message and I will show you how it's done :D

Troll post, but: left unawnsered you'll give groen and the others ideas.

Good god, you could say that again, no expert. More like down right ignorant.
Fruit flies where the first living thing in space and survived.
The monkey died, due to parachute failure, so why wouldn't humans want to go, it's not like parachutes fail every launch.

He3 is for fusion a fusion reactor, we have no commercial fusion reactors, so getting he3 is a bit pointless at the moment. jEt the experimental fusion reactor produces power for a whopping 0.5seconds.
iter is the next reactor to be built and won't commence fusion reactor till about 2020
Demo comes after that, which will be first reactor to actually sustain fusion and produce power, 2033 at earliest.
Then comes proto, a prototype power station, no dates set ATM.
Then we can build commercial fusion reactors.

And even then that won't be a he3 fusion reactor, which is a proposed second generation fusion reaction.

So again what's the point of getting he3 from moon? At huge cost?
The theirs cost, even to put a kilo in geo sync orbit is $20,000 per kilo, and that only does it one way. Moon is much further and with return trip. The 101.5g stolen from nasa was valued at around $5million.

Then there's the actual quantity on the moon, he3 is more abundant on the moon, but we are still only talking 1 part in 200million, it's not say up there in big blocks ready for taking. That requires heavy processing equipment. To put another way, 25tons requires mining 5billion tons of rock.

As for not returning, it is very expensive, nasa budget got massively sliced and they've been concentrating on scientific goals, which means satellites for astrophysics and theoretical physics. As well as low g science with things like ISS. There's only so much pie to get round and sending men to the moon hasn't been a top priority at all for that budget.

Again why do the cost when we we have fuel for fusion on earth?

So, you are the insane one. With the incorrect "facts" and no knowledge.

Actually, it was a dog. Laika, launched on Sputnik 2 by the Russians. They had no way of bringing her back down from space (the craft had no re-entry capability) so planned to euthanise her with poisoned food. She died of overheating and stress after a few hours of flight anyway. The satellite had lost some of it's insulation during the launch, and the 'cabin' temperature control system couldn't cope.

Now, if you can't even get the species of animal right....what's to say that the rest of your opinion is worth anything? ;)
