Going to try and claim using the 10 yr guarantee as detailed here...

But as you can see the table has detached from the frame...

I've felt the glass and metal contact area and it's smooth? What the hell did they use before it came apart out of interest?

Pressure/heat fit; chill the leg push it in and let it warm up to room temp, by which time it has expanded and gripped the table.

This exactly.
Stick it in the freezer, then as soon as its out shove it in the hole. Then use a hairdryer to warm it up

The photos aren't clear but there isn't a hole. The green underside area and see through circular area are level.

They're just universal instructions as there's various leg options and table top options but you're 2nd link page 4 is my configuration. As you can see originally the glass table had 4 metal circular mounts on the table underside to which the frame bolts on and then the legs bolts onto the frame so yeh my post indicated the legs but it's the actual mounts that have come away from the glass. Reading online forums it appears IKEA are going to play the wear and tear or misuse on this one lol. It all started when one of the height adjustable legs didn't hold up (as it took an arrow to the knee) and the table went lobsided pulling the glass away from the mount on the other corner of the table.

it's a strong clear double sided tape type adhesive.

I'm looking for something similar to fix our table too.

Ah ok. A mount makes more sense.
