No, Gates and Jobs were first, along with everyone else involved in the beginnings of Apple and Microsoft, with Pirates of Silicon Valley in 1999.

My opinion is it's better to have someone who can act, but isn't the best look-alike, rather than someone who looks the part, but can't act. If the film is rubbish of course, then it doesn't matter.

That clip was quite bad! Pirates of Silicone Valley looks to be 10 times better than this with the huge bonus of not having Aston Kutcher!

Not sure about this. I like the idea of a Jobs film, his biography is fantastic. Not sure whether Kutcher will do it justice though.

Jobs and Wozniak stood on the shoulders of giants whether that was Chuck Peddle, or Xerox PARC. You couldn't pay me to sit through 90 minutes of Apple hype.

Still he does seem to have been rather successful SEVERAL times over at bringing technology that already existed to the public and making it successful with them.

This looks like tripe and the reviews are already slating it.
And plus why watch this when Pirates of Silicon Valley will be a much more accurate portrail of events than this Apple hype film.

I am still convinced that jOBS truly is the most elaborate episode of Punk’d ever. Nothing about this film has ever seemed like it was made to be taken seriously...... Deep down I am desperately praying that all this was just one giant joke, because that is the only way I will ever give this movie credit for being either creative or original.
