I like the enthusiasm of the OP despite all the hate, new to OC'in myself but just curious....why benching FarCry 2 and not 3? I used to run FarCry 2 on a crappy PC @ 1680x1050 on ultra.

Would you not be better benching games that are highly CPU bound like PlanetSide 2? If not, would like to know why :D

@Gibbo3771: Reason is simple... I do not have Intel Rig and AMD Rig (based on FX-8120) anymore... I sold them like 2 weeks ago when I fished with all tests that I was intended to do them from start (you had to know I spent my own money for all those test) . So now I can only tests with FX-8320.
Hope you understand me, because my english is really not perfect :(.

Why's your blog called cpu wars ie

Your only benching the 8320 now it seems,this thread from the begining has been a bit of a moot point for many on here.

I had to admit... I made mistake while testing 3570K - I can't find links of tests (I only wrote results on paper)... So If anyone have 7850 and 3570K and it is prepared to test and send me links of tests with 3.4GHz stock (Turbo OFF) and with 4.5GHz I will update results of 3D MARK 11 (GPU - 7850 is on stock frequencies so 860/1200).

As fare as i've heard from some reviewers FarCry 2, while easily run on any gaming rig today, is very sensitive to CPU changes. If this is true or not I don't know.
