How much disposable do you have?

Jut started in a it firm right from the bottom. Not enough it hurts.

Will all pay off though in the future.

When you say food - do you mean going out for food or do you mean your weekly shop?

Presumably you mean after all regular monthly expenditure?

You can't really tell - he may live with his parents, he may live in a shared house, he may not have any debts. 750 is a modest amount for London, but probably loads in other parts of the country.

Sorry it wasn't a willy waving thread, simply just trying to make sure I am not crazy to be moving into town.

I consider food a variable...I mean sometimes I eat out, get take aways, have expensive meats....so its not a fixed cost for me which is why I excluded it.

Same, enjoying life at the moment but I want to take on a bigger mortgage later this year early next year and there are some worrying changes at work that have me getting a little twitchy

I'd still budget it in on a monthly basis as it's something you need.

It can be variable, but there will still be an average monthly spend.

As for the question in the OP. Enough to put a fair bit a month into savings, and still have cash spare for dining out, entertainment and buying the odd treat (i.e. a nexus 7 recently).

Depends on whether it's payday or not?
