I'm interested in trying a pair of rapper headphones, such as sms by 50 cent over ear headphones.

There's a range of opinion on the net, from people saying they're the best headphones they've used (they've never had decent audio gear?) to people saying they're overpriced garbage (its cool to slate these as fashion items?).

I was wondering about these sms by 50 cent over ear headphones and I would like to know from people who have tried these rapper headphones (beats, soul, sms etc) are they actually decent?

I like bass in music so I thought maybe I'd like them?

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks :)

Sennheiser HD25-1 II

Live with them for many years and enjoy their lovely sound and ridiculous robustness.

Plus you look cool as ****, rather than another retarded sheep with as much sex appeal as a window.

Beats have terrible frequency reproduction apparently. They get reviewed well by nobbers who like them because the bass is nice and loud. To me, someone wearing a pair of Beats is wearing a Beacon that scream "I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MUSIC AND CARE MORE ABOUT MY APPEARANCE"

I have a set of denon ahd1100 at the moment, I'm guessing rapper headphones would not be a upgrade?

I would still like some honest opinions from people with first hand experience.

What do you use your HD25s with? I want to use them for my iPhone but I want to be sure it can actually drive them before I buy.

Headphones such as beats etc are just a fashion statement :)

For the money you can do much better as after all headphones are for listening to music right not an accessory for others to see

Check out the Sennheiser HD 598 and Shure SRH840
