The **Now Eating** Thread

Tried out the butchers just around the corner from me for the first time. Had a 340g rump steak with sweet potato chips. The steak was very decent quality, I usually don't have anything less than medium (usually medium-well done) with supermarket meat, but this was cooked to about rare-medium and it was good! Good flavour and texture. Definitely going to be buying from them again, but only every now and again as it's quite expensive.

Made a cook in the bag Mexican chicken and it was delicious. Have had the garlic chicken one as well and that was nice. They are great for if you're feeling lazy.

Just add 2 peppers and a red onion and cook in the bag for 45 mins.

I bloody hate that Maggi wench.

I'm eating leftovers from dinner. Rice dish with chicken quarters, peppers, tomatoes, stock, chorizo and prawns. Sort of like a paella, but not quite :P

Avocado. :)

Avocado & Bacon Burger from Handmade Burger & Co.

(I took 2 bites and then ditched the bread :p Not that it wasn't nice but was too much food otherwise)

Avocado with meat!?! Why didn't I think of this?!

Happily my girlfriend colleague who does a lot of shooting has given us a venison shoulder, to be consumed this weekend. Oh nom nom.
