THQ broken up & sold off today

I'd actually prefer Warhammer Fantasy: Total War, I can envisage marching my army of damned skeletons over the sands to burn the Empire!
Never really got into 40K...

Still, they'd both be awesome! The magical element could be done like the special skills of Shogun 2 with a cooldown time etc.

I didnt know southpark games were still being made, the last one i played was on the n64 YEARS ago

Same here

Me and my cousins, being what must have been ranging from 10-14 at the time, had such laughs with this game.

So anyhow did this mean the Licence for warhammer (not game) gets given to saga or do they have to buy it if they want to do a DoW game

The license should transfer over with Relic and so will come into the possession of Sega. Its possible there are some clauses in the licensing agreement which mean that in the event of a change of control the license is revoked but even if that is the case I can't see why Games Workshop wouldn't just license it to Relic again, they know what they are doing and do it well.

I'm happy to see Relic go to Sega as they have left Creative Assembly alone to do their own thing with the Total War series and I am hoping they will do the same with Relic.

Vigil shutting down is pretty tragic, really hope a lot of them are picked up by Platinum games or find jobs elsewhere as I really enjoyed the Darksiders games.

I thought space marine was the best relic had done in setting the warhammer universe, question is will we see even better warhammer games now relic are under sega's wing?

As much as I would love it, I honestly don't think that a 40k Total War would work

Total war games work best with melee centred combat

Want to see a Battlefleet Gothic RTS space battle which then turns into a Space Hulk FPS when you board enemy ships :).
