Unless there is a separate minor injuries unit then AFAIK A&E could be appropriate for injuries such as cuts requiring stitching and large burns etc... doesn't have to be an 'emergency' per say but something that you'd want to get looked at fairly promptly... I doubt they're going to be overwhelmed mid-morning... its not like its Friday/Saturday night..... A burn covering a large area that's already caused blistering could well get infected - probably better to have a nurse dress it etc...

i would love to read the fictional benefits... credible link?

All i've read so far is hot water offer the same benefits as cold water...... only differs when you add honey or lemon.
