Best used (£50) Android phone with min 3.7" screen?

I'm looking for a 2nd Android phone with a decent sized screen - minimum 3.7", ideally larger. I don't really want to spend more than £50 on eBay.
The HTC Desire looks like a good option - can anyone suggest any alternatives with a largish screen?

Not sure on the prices but around the time the Desire came out, the Galaxy S1, Nexus S and Motorola Defy were all in the same ball park.

Further to you mentioning it in the OP, just to note that I'm still running an HTC desire, now happily running JellyBean 4.2.1 with a custom rom. Still a very active community on XDA.

Which Jelly distro is that? I recently put MildWild on my desire after running Leedroid for ages (both Gingerbread). Had a quick look at the 4.x releases but there seemed to be quite a few niggles reported. Would be nice if there is a stable one out now.
