So I moved my pc today (as in a car journey) and now it is dead.

No beeps from bios, it just spins up then dies. Issues? No hardwarechanges have been made .

Something or everything must be borked

Have you checked all the cables are plugged in (by that I mean take them out and plug them back in anyway), I've never upgraded my PC and not had to push in the cables a bit extra.

Yes just tried that. I get 3 long beeps if i take the ram out. But put it in and reboot loop occurs

Thanks, literally just done that. I'm getting one successful beep but no picture on hdmi. I'll try vga tomorrow. No hdmi signal from mobo either

Never had to do that before, hopefully pci-e port isn't borked!

if its on the tv, how long are you leaving it? mine randomly chaanges between displaying from post, to sometimes not displaying anything till login screen

Long enough. It's odd that both on board hdmi and gpu hdmi do not work. It does register as screen flicks when plugged in

Route to success..

Clear cmos.
Take out ram and put back in.. One at a time... Sticks swapped for good measure
Remove gpu and replace
Swap hdmi for dvi connection and tv for monitor
Bios change to achi
Clear all restoration data.
Set up dual screen
Remove monitor

Never had to clear cmos before. I wonder what happened!

could have been a few things

Something coming unseated slightly
Momentary short when bumped in the car
CMOS battery almost dead (Taken out the house, low temp car ride drops the voltage a tad more so loses some/all settings, back in the warm voltage creeps up and holds settings again).

im guess a bump in the car, maybe even condensation.

one minor issue remains, no bios visible on HDMI, but fine on DVI
