It is the stainless and indeed it does have some heft!

I paid £149 from bablas, seemed to be the only one of a handful stocking it and at that price. Ordered Friday afternoon & paid for next working day delivery. RMSD tracking said it would arrive Monday but it arrived today so to be fair to bablas, their service and dispatch is quite impressive,

Just a shame I always get unlucky with various items which need to be replaced or returned lol.

Wow that much, i can see why you are a little miffed, i was expecting you to say around £80 so i would hate to see the price of individual links.
What bracelet did your watch have in the first place?

Essentially no, but in every other regard, yes, I suppose. With the AR15, they all look the same, externally, except for the furniture. To a layman like me, anyway.

Do the barrels and upper receivers wear out quite quickly? Is that why you have three up there?

They are all basically the same but some are better machined with better material, better quality control etc.

There is basically "mil spec" (lexus) and "commercial grade" (skoda). Differences in metal and forging process, quality of machining quality control, various bits being staked and pinned where otherwise they might not. Chrome lining of the gas keys, quality of fit and finish. Some are piston driven instead of direct impingement.

Those barrels are chrome lined and cold hammer forged, the same process as machine gun barrels so should last a very long time. It would cost about $10,000 of ammo to begin to wear them out. Top one has a longer gas system with softer recoil. The bottom one I am going to cut off the front sight down to the gas block and mount a rail system over it and put that compensator on it. Middle one I will leave as-is.

Thanks Kwerk, very interesting stuff to read.

There are a few great lines on your 'Pot Noodle' Ray, but whoever penned it needs a lot more practice writing copy, that's for sure. Very amateurish indeed, for a finished product.

I said it before but I really should have bought the bracelet version of this watch in the first place but my dislike for bracelets stopped me and I got the leather one...now realising leather straps don't last long even with care and look tired quickly it made sense to invest in the bracelet.

This is what the default strap is like now:

This is what it will look like:

Haven't really checked but guesstimate would say around that yeah. I bought the watch ons ale though at 200.

Nice watch!

Kanifee, agreed :-D

Because of you mrk, i've saved that seiko watch in my faves. Almost every day i have to force myself not to buy it. Not because i dont want it, because i dont need it! But maybe this week! My girlfriend has put my Nixon in a 'safe place' Such a safe place that not even she can remember where. Feel naked without a watch!

same car bean British Transport Police have started using (Lewis Co.) except theirs has a monolithic rail. I think Shropshire police use this same setup actually but with an eotech sight. The MOD has a contract for the 308 version.

Please tell me you spelt that deliberately wrong! Phonetically spelling something with the American pronunciation deserves a ban imo.

Ban, ban, ban!
